The SON, the FATHER’S DELIGHT (Part 1): “He received from God the Father honor and glory when such a voice came to Him from the Excellent Glory: “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (2 Pet 1:17). We know “The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand” (Jn 3:35). And the Son declared, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father” (14:9). By means of the incarnation, the truth that “No one has seen God at any time” became “The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him” (1:18). Can you take it in? There was God “dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see” (1 Tim 6:16). But “upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned” (Mt 4:16). We rejoice that “the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world” (1 Jn 4:14). Thus it is solemnly declared that “the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father” (Jn 5:22-23). Let’s honor Him today!
