CLOTHING DONATIONS NEEDED
Due to Hurricane Katrina, the shelters for homeless children and shelters for battered women in New Orleans, LA lost all the clothing they had. Most items have been replaced except children’s pajamas (infants through mid teens). Because of the shortage, most of the children go to bed in dirty clothes. Lake Park Chapel is providing some pajamas as the Lord provides. Your prayers and support are desperately needed. Pajamas or funds can be sent to Lake Park Chapel, 201 Schlief Dr., Belle Chasse, LA 70037. ph: 504-393-7083

The distribution of the "Up for the Cup" soccer booklet ended when the World Cup final game took place in South Africa on July 11. We praise the Lord for the responses that are already starting to arrive. Here at DIME, we were involved in the printing of 550,000 copies in three Spanish versions and two in English. Also printed in other countries were 35,000 in South Africa, 20,000 in Holland, 10,000 in Israel (in Arabic) and 10,000 in Guatemala (625,000 total). Beside the ones printed and distributed locally in Holland, Israel and Guatemala, 260,000 were distributed in México and 135,000 in South Africa. The booklets were also distributed in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, Spain, Honduras, Paraguay, Uruguay and the United States. We thank the Lord for supplying all that was needed to take care of the project with the support and prayers of many believers. We are working on another similar project related to the Soccer World Cup. Anyone who would like more information can contact us at
